Învrăjbire [Feud] - Magda Isanos
added by: Octavian

I'd like to die beside you and to place
my temple next to yours and read your mind,
to hear your thoughts, then gaze upon your face,
to know if you are open, warm, and kind
as in the past, to look into your eyes
and ask you whether what I've heard is true
that you don't love me, though I still love you.
The world is cruel, they tell me many lies,
but if I saw you, with my mouth I could, –
kissing your eyes and lips that bring delight, –
remove the evil spell from you for good,
I'd save our love from hatred and from spite
I would rekindle it and make it worth,
so that we wonder how such strife and gloom
in two good souls can drive away the mirth.
And we would be like two threads on a loom,
woven together, freed of every pain,
no shadow could divide us, we’d be one,
and it could never throw the slightest stain
upon your smile, which is my cherished sun.
